Debbie Millman’s latest book has recently been published, Look Both Ways: Illustrated Essays on the Intersection of Life and Design.

“It is a book about life, art, love, design, tunes, brands, poetry, shame, and even physics. In many ways, it is the culmination of 26 years of working, and probably took its first shape when I began my radio show on design and culture, Design Matters, nearly five years ago.”

The book was designed by Rodrigo Corral, who has an extremely impressive portfolio of book cover designs.

Realized by Nabil Elderkin, here the promotion of the photo book of the round of the Kanye West singer: Glow in the Dark. Published with the Rizzoli editions, it counts 400 photographs and of many texts around the concert.

In homage to the career of Michael Jordan, the Nike mark comes to launch this superb site full flash: History off Flight. A book available on line in the form of a timeline several pages, presenting the history of the mark with many animations 3D.

Unit Editions is a collaboration between Tony Brook of Spin and Adrian Shaughnessy. Unit Editions is a new, progressive publishing company dedicated to producing high-quality, affordable books about graphic design and the visual arts.

After the discovery of its work in September 2005, here new x-ray on the artist Yuken Teruyaces with these rollers of paper, these bags or these books transformed. A very astonishing realization starting from paper.

An impressive book of 5000 pages, entirely printed and reproducing on each sheet the articles put in front of the famous Wikipedia site. An original idea and carried out very well by the graphic designer Rob Matthews.

Spotted the new Penguin Magnum Collection in Borders this weekend, grouped together looking lovely (and also appearing on the increasingly design-conscious Esquire website). A simple idea beautifully executed: classic American reportage matched with images from the Magnum photography archive.

One of the reasons is so passionate about this whole FFF project is meeting (even if it’s only virtually) talented people like Natalia Troitiño from all over the world, in this case Madrid.

File Magazine is a 56 page magazine with an accompanying DVD which features over two hours of short films, music videos and interviews, included is also a commissioned limited print by Geoff McFetridge. Nice piece of print!

Airside by Airside tells the story of the first decade of design studio, Airside. The hardback, 296-page art book features dozens of full-colour, double page spreads featuring their work for the likes of Lemon Jelly, MTV, The Beatles, Coca-Cola and Pet Shop Boys, as well as fascinating insights into the creative process from the Airside team. Features an introduction by Adrian Shaughnessy and contributions from Edgar Wright, Neil Tennant, Anthony Minghella and Pete Fowler.

Outstanding printwork by Italian outfit CCRZ. Their studio looks pretty amazing as well!
