Not a day goes past when you don’t walk around and see some kind of graphic blazoned on the front of a t-shirt. What is a little harder to find is something adorning the front of a garment that you’d actually want there, but graniph buck that trend. One of the original graphic t-shirt facilitators who have a healthy appetite for uncovering and supporting new artists. This month at KK OUTLET they are exhibiting all the winning designs from this year’s installment of their annual design competition.

Goodbye Turdbrains! is undoubtedly a great title for a show. Unfortunately more often than not, exhibitions with such headlines can be a little hit and miss. But fear not! In this case there should be no such anxiety because hanging and producing the work is the brilliant Mimi Leung.
Mimi is an illustrator at the height of her talents, showing some work created while on a residency in the a Central Australian desert. What better prompt to say hello to Mimi, ask her what we could expect, and why it is that everything she makes seems is so unashamedly vibrant.

Roman Klonek is a Polish-born illustrator with an ability to create surfaces and textures that demand to be hung on your walls. With a show opening tonight at Kemistry Gallery in London we see a glimpse of what Roman says he does when he doesn’t have any other illustration work on, woodcuts. That’s not to do them an injustice though, as there is a depth of finish that begs to be viewed up close and personal, and fortuitously we now have that chance.
