A beautiful typographical animation, on the initiative of the National magazine Geographic, for the course crossed this year of the 7 billion as a world population. An outline of the growth and these population trends, geology as well as the impacts on planet for tomorrow.

A graphic work of the German designer Dirk Schächter with this Typomaps project: a chart which combines the elements of the typography with the geography, the continents and the countries. The size of the words corresponds to the surface.

An interesting series of posters by the artist Jerod Gibson by proposing best the expressions, quotations or dialogues of films and the famous series. A research of working typographical the most adapted to the visual one.

This work is part of an investigation and lecture was done last weekend in Valencia, Spain, in the 4cit (4th international conference of typography).A study of the white spaces that define the different strokes.

A whole new range of brand photography was created to provide material for telling a wider brand story. This was used on packaging as well as marketing and promotional items. Each beer varietal had it’s own wordmark created in a unique way, visually formed from the New Zealand environment or found within it.

The premise was to try and contrast the typographic perfection of the work featured with the defaultness of using courier new and not applying any typographic finese to it. Indeed the real challenge was trying to turn this aesthetic tension into something beautiful and, funnily enough, it’s surprisingly easy to read ” although convention would suggest otherwise.
